The brass elbow that screws into the intake that the brake booster tube threads in to. Any leads greatly appreciated. Looks like the piece in the pic. Thanks, guys.
Steve, I think that's pretty much a standard "Weatherhead" fitting you can buy at any good hardware or plumbing supply place. Like Lowes or HD or Menards. I'm holding a new one in my hand, looking at it.
This came from a hardware store, I'm pretty sure this is that fitting. I know the pic sucks, I know it's shaped a bit differently. I'm not looking for a sale.
Thanks, guys! I've checked my local hardware stores and no go, they look at me like I just grew a third eyeball. I'll try Lowes.
I do have the exact ones for our Buick's if you don't find one anywhere else . . . . Here's the link > https://www.stage1restoration.com/product-category/brakes/page/5/ .
Your fitting is different and mounted in a different place, Bill. Typically they go into the manifold.
The 850 edelhozer had the fitting at the back so thats what I used. I now have the OEM Rochester back on there and IIRC has the manifold fitting. Ill check tomorrow after the back procedure... if I feel up to it! My new line "may" have gone under the throttle rod. The top pic is the RTO 455 for the '64, and then the OEM hose on the V6 (broken off) and last the '72 455. Ill hafta find some more pics later. These are all afew years old and the sometimers is kickin' in! ws
