Does any one know who sells mandrel bent head pipes for a 1967 Chevelle "SS396". The rest of the Exhaust, mandrel bent, is available almost any place. These companys just have "header back" systems but no mandrel bent head pipes.

I don't know about the 67 chevelle. I do know that the 68-72 use the Oldsmobile 442 manifold pipe from 1970 w-30.

    Exhaust systems

Thanks for the tip. Torque tech did have the down pipes. Which 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent exhaust systems out there show the most promissing horse power gains for the pure stock. I've got the part number for a FlowMaster 2 1/2 inch with series 3 mufflers. Is there a better system out there??

I think yo might be splitting hairs. Look at cost and then see which one has the least amount of peices. I would buy the one that is aluminized and has the longest lengths. JMO....

Go to Performanceyears.com and then look for the link to PYPES EXHAUST.

They should offer a system for your car, and they are about half the cost
compared to their competitor's, and quality is the same as Torque Tech in
    my opinion.
I've bought a few system's from them now :TU:

And actually when you buy a kit from torque tech for a W-30, the headpipes
they send you are actually big block chevy pieces, they just happen to work
    on the Olds manifold's,FYI.
