I think they leave the gate closed but unlocked.. A bunch of us will be camping at the track Thursday and Friday night.. See you all there..:TU:
If anyone gets there too late to drop off their trailers and do not want to leave them in a hotel parking lot, call me. We live in Caledonia MI. about 1/2 hour northeast. Plenty of safe parking. All paved roads. 616-893-0176. Jerry If I don't answer immediately, leave a message. I seldom answer if I'm driving. I will pull over and return your call.
Very funny Timothy! Thanks for the info. Trying to talk Jeremy into coming Thursday even though we can't leave as early as we want. Don't want to have to fit the trailer in the hotel lot! Looking forward to seeing everyone!!:beer
got the car started, had to jump it with the Olds I think she's ready to rock n roll I've dropped off my trailer in the dark on Thurs night before, so unless something has changed, we should be good.
Can I ask a small favor, if there are any left, if I could get one of the Pete Simpson memorial stickers? If there are any left, could one be given to Chris Smetana this weekend so I can display it on my car when I hopefully make it to the race in Sept. Thank you and good luck to all that are racing this weekend!!! Munson
Jim - you're finally going to race again?!? GOOD! Due to several factors I will not be attending. As far as the car goes, my H/O running low 14s is embarrassing but besides that I need tires, strip and repaint the wheels, replace rear air-bags (oops - I'm not supposed to mention that!) - just the fact that until last May I had not driven the H/O since 2010. It is tough to miss this one as this is the closer race to me! I wish everyone well and will of course be at Stanton in September!
I think I messed up on my checklist: 1966 check Chevrolet check 327/350 check 4 speed check 4.56 gears check but something is just not right
