GM used to make their own lighting products under the Guide Division (do I have it right, Bill?). I still have T-3s in my GS. Not repros, old ones. GM’s Delco radios kicked butt in the ‘80s. I had an ‘86 Concert Sound equipped Cadillac Fleetwood. That thing jammed. Friend had an ‘83 or so Park Avenue-it had speakers in all four doors and was awesome. The late ‘80s 1.5?DIN stereos with the EQ and cassette? They rocked, still do, and can be repaired.
I miss that time in America. I miss American made shoes, jeans and dress slacks.
. I think being sad it’s a time gone by is normal. Being angry is a waste of energy and will turn a fellow bitter if he dwells on it. Like a lot of things in the news now.
