I have a 75 Electra Limited with a paint code "51" Canary Yellow, but don't know how to match the original vinyl top color? it appears to be a very light tan, sand color, with a Gold interior. Also looking for the Port window trim for a vinyl top. I understand it is a "plastic" flexible molding with a mylar coating, where can I get this?
If it's similar to the vinyl top window trim on my old 1975 Monte Carlo (and it sounds like it is), the pieces self-destructed in a few years. You may have to fabricate a replacement, possibly using anodized aluminum channel material. Or, If the Pontiac, Oldmobile or Cadillac models used the same piece, you could try some of their specialty vendors
