Where's the meet up for saturday night ?? Davis may have a spot for any that are interested in joining us..... Peace WildBill
Hofbrauhaus, German food is always good and a fun place. (Always busy, reservations a plus) We got a good Chicago gang crowd the last few times. Convienient to the Hotels across the street from the convention center. The Brazilian Fogo D Chou restaurant, we ate there once with Ajesh and Buick friends in the same area is also pretty good. Pizza is always good. (Lou Malinotti's?) Looking forward to seeing you and Davis! Saw the Dead at Madison Sq. Garden Sat. night. Good show.
Ajesh, John Csordas and I are in for Friday at Gibsons, as per our phone conversation. It wouldn't be the same going to MCACN without at least one night eating there. Thanks for making the plans!
My dinner guest list The Sabotkas Adam and Atena Duane,Beth, and Brad Terry Felt, son Dave Tumas, friend Roitman,Csordas, Frank and Lynn St.Elmo Gary and Sandy Paine Gordon Martin family Todd Miller family(die cast and Buick parts) Meanie Mauser Ajesh and Lisa Ryan
I had hoped to have a couple of cars to auction at MCACN this year but the zone car just got painted and I still have some finishing touches on the GSX to do. We plan on going to the Premier auction in march,. Sounds like you guys will have a blast....
I'll be there on Saturday and staying overnight at one of the attached/adjacent hotels. We should definitely have a V8 group "happy hour" get together! Count me in!
We'll be there and if all goes as planned we'll be showing Gordon Martin's 1970 GSX "Barn Find" Chassis. (Whole car will be unveiled there in 2020) Gordon's GSX is a 29,000 original mile - original paint Stage 1 - 4 Speed GSX that was ordered with Manual Steering. It's currently undergoing a Full Frame off Restoration. So if you see a Buick Chassis at the show it belongs to this car! Stop and say Hi!
We'll probably be too whipped from flights, etc. to go out on Friday night but if anyone is heading out on Saturday night for a few pops the boys and I wouldn't mind meeting up for around or two and some story telling.
Supper Friday and v8 happy hour sounds great, I think my wife wants to go downtown for some shopping and exploring if anyone else’s wants to do the same? Gordon
I will be showing a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge in Jim Mattison's GTO Ram Air display that I restored a few years ago. Hope to see you there.
