For those who ventured to Chicago to see the "semi dirty dozen" I want to say thank you! I have not yet talked to Bob Ashton (organizer of the event), but during the show, he was super geeked and is talking about this as an annual addition to this fantastic Musclecar show. To all who participated, I tried to express how much I appreciated your participation and the efforts that came along with this. The group of cars looked fantastic!!!!! I do have give a super fantastic shout out to one Mr. Brass! I came up with the idea that we have this party, but Donny was the party planner, engineer, electrician, track offical, and carnival barker! Your tireless efforts did not go unnoticed! I truly believe that your energy needle was on empty, but you still kept going like the Energizer bunny! Thank you 10,000x! The line for next years group starts on the right. Call me if you are interested. My cell is 816-654-3400. PS--- you guys are going to love the next Hemmings Muscle Machine!!!!!!
Was a neat show, Appreciate all the hard work Donny put into making the display Really special. I think people really liked it. People couldn't believe we raced these beautiful cars!
What a great time, sure was cool to be there with all those great cars, some of which 'used to race, before they became to valuable'......... It was one big candy store of automotive overload. I don't think I sat down for more than 20 minutes at a time all weekend.. Thanks to everyone who brought a car out to make this one of the coolest displays in the event :beers2:
BIG thank you to Donny and Rusty for putting this together Great seeing everyone. I especially liked the fact I didn't have to travel 3-5 hours for this one. MCACN is a yearly show for me and it's just icing on the cake us PSMCDR racers were able to be on display.
Wow, Thanks Rusty and Donny!!! Great job! and now I have 2 signs, one Bob had found and one Phil and Carl came across on their way out of the building! !

Donny and Rusty put in a ton of work and cash out of their own pockets to make this the best display there. Thanks again. The Christmas tree was a hit with the kids and adults alike as was the video of the races. If there is a next year the Pure Stock participants better beg those two to put it together again. Was fun to see the quizzical look on the faces of people as they came to realize, "yes we really do race these cars and no, we didn't spray paint the quarters to make it look like rubber."
The display was great. It was nice to catch up with a few of y'all when no impending drag race is imminent. Great Cars. (I will try to post more pictures this week, but wanted to at least show this monster) Ryan
Thanks to Rusty and Donny for putting such a nice display together and for letting me be a part of it. I brought my 7 year old son Nathan with me on Saturday and he had a ball with the Christmas Tree!! The two things that people could not believe was (1) these nice cars are really raced and (2) the times that stock cars are able to post. Conversations regarding tires, exhaust, tuning, etc....helped people understand. Felt very honored to be a part of such a wonderful display and to help represent the PSMCDR's. Jody
Thank you Rusty and Donny for all of your time, effort, and $$ that went into making this PURESTOCK display possible. I'd also like to thank Bob Ashton and all of the MCACN people who were able to keep things running as smoothly as they did. And one last thank you to the Chicago gang for their hospitality all weekend long. PS, I think I'll find a fursuit to wear the next time I'm there. Took a wrong turn on the way out as I stared at a conga line of human stuffed animals.. Donny, can you post a link to our furry friends. That was hilarious!
No, I can see him decorating his helmet as a giant Wile E. Coyote instead. I can see the the ears flappin' out of the window already with a giant Hodges' grin under the furry mask.......:shock:
Sorry Steve.... But Rammitlonger has doomed you to running second, chasing a road runner ou: I do agree with you tho. He will be smiling under that furry outfit!
As long as I am able to hold onto my Runner I'm planning on being there with it for the A12 re-union that is in the planning stages. I'd like to hit PSMCDR again as well. Just have to see......
