Mopar 360 engine sick

    Not so fast!! As after the trip to the strip without issues and moving onto the other issues the car is definately cursed.

    On the way to the car show the RH front brake caliper locked up and destroyed lots of stuff in the process. And seemed to be developing a tick from the valvetrain and a miss.

    After towing the car home and replacing all the damaged parts from the brake issue it was time to address the valvetrain issue.

    Once the vale cover was removed the issue is related to the #8 intake. The lock nut was laying at the bottom of the head. Once the nut was reinstalled the adjustment process began.

    So this is the probelm now, the adjuster is about three or four threads above the rest of the valves when the same lash is set. And there is a large amount of damage to the tulip end of the pushrod but the pushrod is not bent. I will put a scope into the valley to look at the lifter face to see if there is any damage or something unusual.

    Thoughts on the cause?
