More oomph for a 455

    Well, for me, I have virtually everything for my engine except the crank/rod bearings, a gasket kit and the connecting rods. So I can either have my shop grind my crank to accept pontiac rods or just get basic rods and have the top zero decked by about .05 and then cut the intake to match. It's kind of chasing dollars right now as to which I do. Really depends on how much to modify my crank and buy rods, compared to decking the block and use simple factory length rods.
