I don’t think I will try to break the 1021 Hp record but I do plan to make a reliable fully streetable 650-800 hp. I do have a huge turbo that could feed 1600 Hp but I’m not sure if I’m up to abusing my new engine with that just to beat the 1021 number. About 500 HP is pretty attainable NA and twin turbos can easily double the HP of most combos. My old combo was about 580-600 Hp at the crank.
This car seems to be the fastest reliable street legal buick 350 car that is running to date. 630 Hp to the tires is about 750 at the crank. He’s been running for years without a rebuild. Stock 74 rods, cheep heavy TRW speed pro forged pistons, some creative craftsmanship, and it works well. http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/turbo-buick-v8-in-puerto-rico.317587/#post-2647521
