I'll admit it isn't as rough a start as some of the cars i've seen people with. But the pictures make it look good. I am lucky it is in the condition it is in with how much abuse it has been through since I bought it. If the Florida weather didn't put a bad enough hurtin on it.. me driving it like it was built to race when I was 16 years old did. But hey... those rice burners never saw it coming :3gears: :bla:

It is/will be a beautiful car...
    Thanks for the comment PistonFire

Man... time flies when you're having no fun. A lot has been done to the buick since this post. We did everything we could to avoid the dreadful body work. Been also putting a lot of time into my career. I go on vacation end of this month and the parts orders are out! If anyone is in the jacksonville area and feels the urge to block sand for hours on end hit me up o_Oo_O.

I'll be doing some welding for the first time in a decade too. Probably need to do some practice runs.

I'll post some pics of the progress. :D

Cut the bad rust spots out and welded new metal in. A few smaller holes got fiberglassed and the whole channel got a few coats of POR15. Will be sanding and priming the area tomorrow.

Trunk also got a good sanding, wire wheeled, and acid treated. Along with a coat of POR15. Can I just dip my whole car in this stuff??? :D:D:p
