Yes, Mark is indeed a man of integrity. This particular RH side quarter panel is the third one I recieved from "Then and Now"

The first arrived with a factory flaw....

The second arrived all banged up and bruised from shipping....

    The third is Flawless!

Mark thanks again for making everything RIGHT! :TU:

Very Nice Dan, I too look forward to watching the progress on your car. I hope to someday soon start a project like this as well. I am inspired by your posting and hope to post something similar as I restore mine too.

Found another problem area.... does anyone have a original donor patch I can use...I would gladly pay for a good original lower section.

Are interior parts available for these post sedans?

    John,

No..... no one is reproducing the door panels. I have ordered the door panels and seat material from SMS Interiors, Not Cheap. "Rubber Flooring" is difficult to find. This Post Sedan has a Blue "Rubber Flooring"

I do have an original, however I have to dye it the correct Blue.

Most 1970-72 Post Sedan Skylarks were base line cars.....having said that, I do believe that they were lighter than other Coupe 1970-72 Skylarks. The question is how much lighter?

Most of these cars were equipped as "Plain Janes" low optioned cars, as mine was.

Mine is a bare basic Post Sedan, with "Rubber Flooring", taxi cab bench interior. Clear glass. No rear arm rests, small exterior trim, non-hidden wipers. Single Horn.

I guess we could just get Chevelle post panels and throw a Buick emblem on it. Since most people aren't building these as show cars.
