I am still looking for this lower cowl section.

Can someone provide me a rust free lower RH cowl section. It can be off of any 1968-1972 abody. Looking for both the inner and outer section. It would be perfect if someone could just saw-zaw an entire lower section.

    Thank you,

Since I am replacing the entire lower cowl section, I decided to remove the half section of the firewall. Really going the extra step and removing the ALL the remaining rust, which was minimal and I could have left it alone....but I figured, Do It Right!

Removing half the firewall will also allow installing the entire lower cowl section much easier.

Dan, how many spot weld drill bits have you eaten up? Seriously, this is a great thread. :kodak:

The thing that amazes me is that Dan always seems to clean up the mess before he takes the pictures. You never see any of the dirt and rust and metal shavings that have to everywhere but are nowhere to be seen. :TU:

    Pat,

I sure am glad you woke up that morning and decided to take a road trip to Philly to purchase these Post Doors. I have seen many Post Doors and this set is the cleanest, rust free set I have seen :TU:

    Good Job, Pat:TU:
