    I sold a 72 post car a few years ago and although it was a tad rusty(a huge understatement) you could tell that the sedans were a much more solid body than the hardtops. If I could find another one I'd join the ranks of the 27 corps again. Even as rusty as the car was it just rode and drove so much better than the car I still have.

    These pictures of it are from this past November and it's now with it's second owner since I sold it and it had just recently been put back on the road after a almost three year sit. The young man who owns it now loves it.

    Dave,

    Always like hearing a nice ending, especially when our former cars are in good hands. If the new owner is not a member of v8buick.com, have him join us and post some recent pictures of his 1972 Skylark Post Sedan :kodak:

    When you get this metal work all done and are bored let me know. I have one thats needing floors and you seem to be a pro at installing these:) My post looks to be in decent condition except the floors but I have yet to pull the fenders. Mine will get a 455 and th400 maybe a DANA rear

    To think I only bought this car to use as patch panels for ALL-PARTS car and just couldn't think of hacking it up...I still wish I would have went all out and made a serious drag car out of it. I had plans of back halving it (still have the 15x14 widened Buick ralley wheels and 12 point cage) Glad to see it's in caring hands though. I keep tabs on the old girl...

    Pat,

    I sure am grateful that you sold this Post Sedan to Kevin Brungard (GS4551970) and that I was one of the first to call Kevin when he listed it for sale. :TU:

    Hi Dan,
    I see you are on the ball with the proper vendors. My wife and I own a 1971 post car and cannot find 2 things in particular;
    (1) the correct door, rear quarter window seals/weatherstrips.
    (2) chrome trim for B pillar and top edge (under roofrail).
    oh, and door panels.
    If/when you find these parts could you give us a heads up on where you located them? It has been a long search but post car parts are hard to find. Good luck with the build! Looks really good so far. I may have to send our carb out to your guys. Thanks so much, Ray

    Wow! What is all that white stuff? :Dou:

    Ok that's a valid excuse. This time

    I'm enjoying all the work you're doing and like the others, I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
