I had magnaflow's on another car and liked the sound but I think I'm going to go to the classic sound of the glasspacks. They were suggesting to me before I had the exhaust done but thought something different would be cool, it isn't.
Thanks Brian, yes I got very lucky with this one. My last few rides all needed bodywork, paint and mechanical work. This one just needed the maintenance items to be expected for an all original 50 year old car. - Bill

That is one beautiful Electra you found! The ’67 is my favorite year Electra, and I also love the original design of the wheel covers. Growing up, my parents had a ’67 4dr hard top that was light blue, royal blue int with a black top ……….I remember polishing the deep dish wheel covers to make them pop. I loved that car, but I have always been a vert guy.

Put Walker mufflers on it. Anything louder is out of character for such a stately and attractive car!

I wanted to go with better flow than a stock style muffler since it's a fully custom built system. Unfortunately its nearly impossible to shop for a specific exhaust sound. Next show I attend I'm going to be asking around about what people have and listen to what they sound like. Hopefully I can find something that works. - Bill

Walkers flow better than all the others with the quietest sound. Come to Bowling Green this fall, there’ll be plenty of cars to sample!

I doubt I'll make it to Bowling Green anytime soon Patrick. I'm having a hard enough time making it to the local shows but thanks for the invite. - Bill

That is a stunning color combination on a beautiful car! Very nice find. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with that combination
