Ten year after I bought the car i'm about to have my car given a new rebirth !!! Here's where I start ... the car is in good shape but some fatigue in the lower body . I have my bucket seats and rear bench redo earlier this summer with new skin . Picture of the last show I've done this year on labour day week-end . What I'd like to do is : - Took off side body moldings - Took off "olds" fake scoop on the Hood . - Took off vinyl top - Took off fender skirt - Put larger tire w/raised letter tire (T/A) - Newly chromed parts , like Hood spear , sail panel crest , small trunk molding , side ventiports ... Still not sure of the choice of color yet ... my first choice is scarlet red . I'll send some more pictures to follow the evolution of my project
I had my answers .... the sail panel crest was ... glued on the vinyl ! New sail panel logo were chromed and will be glued (3M double-side tape) on the top when ready I had to remove/wash the glue on the top next ....
Thats going to look real nice when youre done, good luck!Did you recover your seats yet? If yes, who did you buy them from? I also havebuckets and they need new along with the back seat, including foam. <o></o>
Recommend the 3m emblem tape . Not cheap though . I'll be painting my roof as well . I Have one D99 factory painted roof car . DL
Looking good. If you want a really bright red that stands out. And if you don't care that's it's a dodge color. Code pr4. That's what I sprayed my dads 68 skylark in. http://
wow ! I like it ! Yes I don't mind if it's a Dodge , Toyota or BMW color I have 3 or 4 to check but this one is looking very nice ! I've checked some others before but they were all three coat paint ... thank you
Latest pic : Trunk now primed ... little by little gonna have it ! Really looking for pr4 red color code !
