For the first time unveiled to my friens in the Buick community, my 68 Riviera that I have owned and milked along to keep it looking as best as I can, has had the justice done it deserves. ALOT more $ than I planned on, but worth it now. It is GM platinum silver from an 08' Lucerne, no vinyle top now, I can't wait to see it in person. Enjoy the in-booth pics. 1 is from before, and now after.

Silver, one of my favorite colors. Your Riv looks great, and will look even better once it's completely reassembled.:TU:

I cannot wait to get all the moldings on...the hood in the picture is just there to align the fenders, it is not bad, but the right side does not lay flat. As you can see by the picture, the motor is a bit "high"-so I have to do something in the future. I think I will graft one of the aftermarket steel cowl induction style bumps on top of a better hood, and put in the Luserne portholes on each side. Wheel Vintiques does the Buick Rally in a 5x5 pattern, up to 17"...I think I gotta have some of those too...:beer

Looking real good Corey, but then I'm sorta partial to those sans vinyl, silvery/greyish/platinum colours ! :beer :TU:

That's the color I was looking for, real nice! Where did you get the hood cowl thingy, I know it's probably for engine fitment requirements but I need one too.

Post some pics after you're done!:TU:

THE OLD HOOD WAS JUST A 20.00 WHITNEY J.C. whitney piece, same one I used on my Regal also. That hood was far from perfoct, so I wasn't speding much time or money on that. I can't wait to post some pics When I see it in person.

Corey, you picked an awesome color. It's really going to compliment the already nice lines of the Riv.
