Thanks to all of those who helped in my search for a convertible, John Maurer, Bill and JR Wills, Duane, Marco, Rick Henderson, Tony Christie, Roberta, Scott Miller, Jim Weise, et al, (I am sure I am missing some).

I sent the check off for this car on Friday (2/3/06), and will probably have the car by the end of Feb/beginning of March, depending upon weather conditions and shipping schedules.

Although the seller of the car is not a board member, I found it and checked it out with the help of several board members.

I apologize for the quality of the pics, they are scanned images that were mailed to me. I will post better ones once I get the car home.

Nice. Now if only I could get mine looking that good. I have the same pearl interior. If I might ask, what does it cost do have an interior totally redone? New door panels, seat covers, seat foam, piping, etc.

I know I'll probably spend $7-8K on the exterior (thankfully no rust issues). And I''ve already redone everything under the skin on the chassis (bushings,brake/fuel systems, suspension). Just need to rebuild the engine, hook up the a/c, new paint and interior. I'm hoping/guessing about $15K for everything. Am I way off here?

It is a 70 so it must be a code 75, fire red, or close to it.
