Correct as usual Jim! Tony's wagon in his avatar is bittersweet mist IIRC. I am sure I will keep looking for cars in my spare time Tony (just not for me), I can't help it, it is a disease. Besides, I still need to find a 4 speed 70 for Chris Lott. :TU:
Congrats Chris. I don't think you will be re-selling this one anytime soon. I have seen this car in person before, it is absolutly beautiful. Enjoy.
Nice car Chris. If you are running out of garage space, you can park one of you other cars at my place
Tim, I knew after talking to John and Bill that I wouldn't be, and the pictures confirmed that. They were both very upfront and honest, great guys to deal with, I couldn't ask for better folks to buy a car from. I know that John has taken great care of this car, and I will do the same. The only disappointment will be on my kids side, as they won't get the car when I die, because I will be buried in it.
Congratulations Chris. I know you have been looking for a long time. I hope you enjoy your new ride. :3gears: Brian
Chris, you are a Dog ! Chris you are a dog ! And i am glad you found what you were looking for ! See ya at the next meet, meat ! Bark ! GSX Eric :3gears:
Well since you have free computer time, I need a 70 - 72 skylark drop under 10,000 that must be clean, and I am going to start looking for a 71 - 76 electra old man nice car for around $5000 for trips (once the wagon sells). Just getting my orders in. Thanks Tony
I have to say, that is the most beautiful GS I have ever seen. Just one question..... ...how did you get into my garage and take pics of Lucille?? Ok, what you really have are pics of Lucille after her appearance on "Extreme Makeover"!! Nice score! :bglasses:
Very Nice! Congratulations, Chris!! :beer It looks like the wait was worth it, but I'm guessing the next several weeks will be the slowest, longest part of the search. If you get a chance, let us know the history of the car.
Nice purchase Chris , Sorry the Black one was a dud . Maybe when it finally does come up I can get it . Red and white is my personal fav.
Don't worry Tony, I have been looking for a 70 72 for you since I saw your post. Not so sure on the Electra, you are still a little young for that!
Thanks James! Don't know much about the history of the car, other than the gentleman whom I am buying it from has owned for about 10 years.
