My 70 Skylark Custom 455 on eBay

    Hahaha, riiiiight...

    I watched it end, I was surprised that the bids didn't do the typical last minute climb. That car could be a fun driver.

    It ended on a holiday weekend which may have contributed. Plus generally speaking, everyone is on vacation around this time. So really bad time. You might want to relist it in a couple weeks after school starts and everyone gets back in their groove. My two cents from 20 years of unsuccessfully trying to figure out Ebay

    Agreed. When I listed, I didn’t take that into account.

    I’m shocked that it stalled out and also think the holiday weekend hurt it. I love the car and know several guys that were watching it.

    If still interested in selling it I would either re-list it and think about the day/time of the end of the auction or consider listing it here with the number you are comfortable with. It’s a great car with all the hard work done.

    Bottom dollar at this point is $12.5k. I am probably going to keep it for a bit and do some repairs that are knocking the value down... ie. seats, trunk rust. It could use an engine compartment detail, too.
