That sounds like a plan Rusty. I'll try that when I'm back at it again. Thank you.

What areas need seam sealer on the underbody and wheel wells? I know the interior needs it but wasnt sure what actually needs it on the exterior body. Have been scraping and cleaning but not paying enough attention to where the sealer was at.

This is the way I also removed all the undercoating from the underside of my floorboards. Instead of using a hand held torch I used a heat gun. Either way you need to heat up the undercoating and scrape away. I did mine in 2'x2' area, then I used a heavy duty steel wheel brush on a dewalt grinder to remove the rest of the undercoating residue, 1 coat of rustproof paint and then a coat of paint to each section I did. Once I completed the complete car then I added two overall coats of paint. I used Eastwood paint throughout the car, my experience with Eastwood paint cost is that is cost more but well worth it.

In the photo you can see where its been done and then the original area untouched. I got very luck that my car did not have any areas of rust anywhere.

Maybe a little incentive to go with the black & gold ? ?

That looks awesome. Whats the price tag on something like that? I need to find someone who knows what they are doing for when I'm ready to do it.
