Scrolling through my own thread to see what it even looks like. Finally in my house, maybe I can get this finished now.
Thanks, I needed that. My car is 400 miles away now. Since we were moving, I told my buddy I wouldn't have a place for it for a while, so now I will tell him to finish it up.
If he finishes the car up for you Mark, I am going to ask you to introduce him to me, I could use a buddy like that.:TU:
Went by to see the car this week. Quarter panels are finished. Only thing left is hood, then it gets final primer, top installed and paint.
Final sanding and primer this week. Finally. Should be Saturn yellow in another week or so. His business let up for a couple of weeks so he is trying to get it finished. I would be excited, but not yet.
Car looks great, I have a 72 custom convertible that im hoping to have paint on by next year this time, going with a graphite gray, still up in the air about what motor, it has stock 350-2 right now but thinking big block, im also turning it into an air conditioned car. I got everything except the condenser, just finishing the firewall work for that
Very Nice. I am new to these forums so I just was able to read over three and a half years worth of work in fifteen minutes. The car look great and I am glad you didn't give up on the project as I am sure you are as well. Love the rear wheels and tires, I may go back to Buick rally's!!!
Almost ready to be my daily driver. Still need a front end alignment. A few other bugs, but will be fun to drive.
And the track test went well. 13.98 just putting it in drive and letting it shift about 4500. 2.0 60' was best because it broke the tires loose every time.
