Here she is...I pick her up tomorrow evening. I've been looking for one of these for quite a while and finally the stars lined up!

I have always like the rear of a 69 Buick. No pun intended
Nice combo with a 70 front end.
That would be a neat combo 69 rear and a 70 front.

    Congrats

JohnKaz... beautiful car. Good luck with her! :TU:
And I agree, the '70 front end with the '68-'69 rear might be the best combo possible. A very unique look it would be...

I agree, after years of 70-72 I saw the light and got into the 68-69 cars. Way cooler body style. No one ever say's nice Chevelle.:beer

    Hi, all:

Actually, I found the car on cars.com. I'd managed to stash a little $$ with the intention of refurbishing my '72 LTD convertible; eventually I came to the conclusion that I'd do better by picking up something else. I did a classic car search, found two 1969 GSs in my area (the other one is in Delaware, 455 4-speed, asking ~$13). The one I bought is/was from near Columbia, Maryland, I happened to be the first one to arrive to see it and bought it on the spot. I grew up in Buicks ('70 Electra, '76 Electra), I'd been casually looking for one for awhile but with no luck, so when this one turned up, I figured it was fate. Now all I have to do is sell the LTD!
