Nice! I blacked out my 05 and it worked out great. Avoid the plastic dip and use real
Paint. The plastic dip peals off too quick I found. I also blacked out the door handles but can’t find a pic

 

Nice truck Ethan. Personally I like that body style so much more than the latest one.

 

What’s the difference between the 4x4 and Z71 package on these? Seems like I see more 4x4 in that model than the Z71.

 

Shocks,.and skid plates and $2500
Use to be 4x4= no posi trac,skid plates lower spring rate,.and s single trac 4x4 is about useless

 

I agree I wanted a 2019 old body Z71 there are still a few on lots but I'll have this thing paid off in 2 months when my other 2 trucks sell,...so I went the used route

Its 127k 2owner..no kids,..no mud,..no rust truck and its literally got every option but z71,.had to give 25k out the door but a crew cab,..full 6ft bed ltz is a unicorn . Wasn't really looking for it but. .

Took the wheel and tire setup off my 04 Z71 ,..mo sense in blowing 3k for something I already have I guess

 

And they look right at home.
