Yeh I think my 71-455 convertible said GS "By Buick" under the GS emblem on the trunk lid if I remember right.

    That's a beautiful car

Reminds me of the one you had many years ago.

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

Jim I think this was Tommy Paige's old car. He sold it a few months ago for I believe 25k and this guy is just flipping it.

It looks like a 350 car to me. No chrome on trunk, no 455 emblems, it might be a Skylark, not a GS. The VIN is hinky, too.

The current owner/dealer is now local to Apex who moved here from L.I. He just opened a new building in Benson.

This is the guy that bought my 68 GS, represented himself as a private buyer, told a tale that loved old Buicks etc, etc, etc.

Then it was on Ebay 2 weeks later for 15K more being flipped.

I got the price I was asking so no hard feelings there, just thought that he could have been a bit more straight up.

Ed--I think his name is Lou. Does that ring a bell?

Jim - I cannot recall his name, I remember that we made a tentative deal on a Thursday night and he was in Orlando the next day by noon with a trailer and cash, drove all night.

The interior appears to be pearl white to me. Was pearl white an option in '71?

Yes, Pearl White interior was 1971.
