need 215 TC

    What do people do when they need 215 TC. The one with timing tab on pass side.

    I work in a rebuilders shop and was concerned the shortblock we are building wouldn't have a new cover. I thought being a small block guy that they could just put a sbb. cover and go. And the orig cover is worn. But if it is all that's available - guess they will reuse...

    To my knowledge their is no "new replacement" TC for the 215. Both of the 215's I had rebuilt reused the tc and my builder didn't say they were wore or bad or anything.

    Thanks Keith ; I saw that cover. I won't build around a used cover. Once the gear pocket gets scored etc. It goes on the garage floor I had the mechanics replace TC seal on my daily driver 68 sky but I supplied them with new cover/ gears / eccentric/ dist gear/ WP / .now front seal leaks. new double roller. Shoulda done it myself. But I'm gettin. Old.
