Looking for a really nice rust free 69 skylark/GS driver side door, can pick up at the Cecil Buick event or shipping? I’m in Northern Virginia. Thanks

Thanks Nick, I have a great set of 68 doors but the inner structure is completely different on the 69 door. I have several rusty 69 door but it just alot of work to convert them over. Hoping to find a clean door and save some time.

How different? I picked up a 68 door for use on a 69, hoping the vent window is easily removable..

Hunter 7389, the vent window has a bracket that need to be removed for the full size window of the 69. The 68 door uses this bracket for support of the top of the door skin. A 69 door has a bracket that runs the length of the top of the door skin that has been spot welded in to give it support. Also i believe the window channel for the 69 doesn't look like it will bolt in due to the panel having different raised and lowered areas.

The good news is the door handle is in the same place. It can be done just a lot more work than i wanted to do. If my door skin was perfect i would try it.

My 68 doors have great inner shell with no rust in the corners and to change over the inner panel is just a lot of work.
