    Bud,
Did Ford use the SCJ label on the 351? I thought only 428's and 9's got the SCJ. I found one place that says there was no 351 SCJ... only 351 BOSS/HO/CJ/4V/2V.

You may be able to find some information in the Big Block Ford usenet newsgroup:

I joined two Torino boards looking for help...without insulting anyone..they did not want to talk much and the 4 sale part was dated with old stuff...makes me a little nervouse about pulling the trigger on it..as for what he is asking I dont want to appear rude but..somehow that never really works to tell all what you paid and what you want for it... even if the new buyer after me down right stole it..there always seems to be some question on I got sre#@#& thinking they overpaid....if you know what I mean.

I will check out your link..Thnx Bud.

seems to be the cream of the crop, even recognized a few respondents I've dealt with in the past.

Not to derail your quest for info, but ran across a 4spd '71 429CJ on Wagoner's site the other night while ck'ing out a '72 455HO LeMans Sport convert. The Torino has since sold :( Interesting to ck it out though.

Will need to click on their inventory list & scan down about 20 cars...

It is a numbers matching 429 Cobra Jet car equipped with a 4-speed transmission, 3.50 Traction-Lok, Hurst shifter, bench seat, heavy duty suspension and features only 64,000 actual miles. The car comes complete with an Elite Marti Report and the car runs excellent. Please call for more information.
