We are just scratching the surface with this head. We won't start porting and running bigger valves until late winter or spring. This is an out of the box head. We should have prices later this week for solid and machined water passages! ken

First of all, thanks for doing this. This is not something you just do over night or in a couple of weeks.
This is fantastic for our motors! I am sure we will see some crazy N/A numbers now with these to support a Tomahawk block.
I will look very much forward to hear about estimated prices - so the savings can begin

Saw pictures of these on Facebook. Guy that posted them has a real mean 70 but he is running twin turbo BBC. Some were excited they were Chevy, LOL.

I made a comment on Facebook about a post with these pictures and was quickly corrected that TA Performance had NOTHING to do with these heads. Was told they are at NRC which is connected to Naiser Racing. Guess I have not been following these closely and was surprised someone other than TA would fool with Buick parts. Great to learn and apologize to NRC.

Ken Betts and I have been working on this for a long time.
Digital imaging folks that work with universal studios helped get our thoughts from our imagination to a hard product..
These will be out for people to see soon.
We started this to go faster with the Dragster.
All said we also want the Buick family to go faster so we will post all the info to order soon.

NRC is not just fooling around with Buick parts. There was a lot of behind the scenes that led me to them. I ran Kenne Bell Performance in the 70's and early 80's. I dealt with a lot of manufactures and suppliers and I have never had someone jump on a project of any size as fast as Todd did here with NRC. He has gone above and beyond and with breakneck speed and still came up with a finished product that is highly professional. He has also made recommendations and changes that will help us now and in the future for further development of this head and other parts. There is quite a list of people who helped along the way. John and I will put together a list of all those involved. ken

John thanks for the information. Glad to see this going forward. Well aware of KB Buick parts, used several and still do. Will try to keep up better with what's happening with these parts.

    Thanks

Looking great Ken, I was out of town when you sent me the pictures.

Ken very nice work these heads look killer! Unfortunately I sold my aluminum block and I am going in a different direction due to health issues but I sure wish I was one of the ones purchasing a set. Wish you all the best !Tom

Kenn, I mentioned two companies approximately four to five years ago that could of done this in a very short period because of there knowledge in world class cylinder head designing. You wouldn't have to port your heads if they done it. All the same head but different port designs ran for what ever you wanted. Its fine though. You found a very nice establishment to do your work. They look awesome, I can't what until I see some numbers.

Just went out front to look for a UPS package that was suppose to be delivered for my wife. Sorry honey no package:( But what was their was a pair of Beautiful Buick Billet Big Block Boxed heads for an early Christmas present! Sorry guys they are not going under the tree, I already unboxed them. I can only say they are Big! Very Big! For all you local So.Cal guys lets get together and take a look! Thanks to the entire Buick community for the tireless pursuit of Buick performance! I have had the itch for a head since I worked at Kenne-Bell in the 70's when Jim had the patterns from Buick for the Stage 2 heads. Again this is only the beginning. Early next year we will start on phase 2 and 3 of this head. One for Nostalgia Top fuel and one for an all out effort on this head with bigger valves. We already have a digitized head for a canted valve with 2.7" intake. Our other efforts will come first as we need valve covers, billet timing cover (we only have one) we want to make it for water for those who need it, and several intakes for different applications. ken

A Billet Timing cover with no fuel pump area and maybe accept a more conventional water pump would be cool, maybe set it up like a 440mopar so it's basically a motor with a propeller

The rocker stands are really cool. If I'm not mistaken Jesel uses 3D printing technology to mock those up.
