Yet another new best today at the track. New best on the motor and on the nitrous. Sooooooo close to 10s on the motor and 9s on the nitrous:

Will you need a better roll cage when you go into the 9s or is that already done?

Made it into the 10s all motor last night. 10.95 @ 122 with no nitrous. I drove it 75 miles to the track, ran 3 consecutive 10 second passes and drove home.

Nice to hear an update.. I can't see the attachment but I am guessing it is a time slip? Please let us know how fast is ran and what changes you have made since last time?

That is just absolutely awesome - congrats now and on making the journey to get there :beer

I've had my eye on this thread since day1 ..

Lately I've had the inkling to juice up the SportWagon quite a bit but it has to be totally drivable .. I can see myself still having it in 20 years or beyond and a 1,000,000 miles on it but its also got to scoot.

.. and I keep coming to the conclusion that LS-power it the way to go. You've pretty much proved it too.

    Bravo

For those who might be interested, I am still chipping away at the performance of my 65 Lark. Here is a video from my latest trip to the track. These are 1/8 mile videos, but it is running 9.30s @ 144 with this tuneup in the 1/4 and I am still able to drive it anywhere. These runs are with a "medium" shot of nitrous. More to come. Note: All of popping and tire chirping is from the turbo Honda in the next lane.

I had to go to a 4L80E. The TH200 started exploding rear planetary gears once I got into the 9 second zone. The 4L80E is a much more solid piece. But, it is heavy as hell. No free lunch.

Now it is 0 to 144 MPH in 9 seconds. Sooo much fun. According to the Wallace 0-60 calculator, that is 0-60 in 1.58 seconds. :D
