Hey guys. I'm 31 years old. Love cars since forever. I joined this site a year ago in advanced before I bought my 64 riviera but the nice lady I was buying it from turned out to be a snake and ran off with my 1000 deposit. She messed me all up, with forgiveness I've learned from the big man upstairs and many waisted time I got over it. Last month while hunting for old 50's and 60's I came across 2 olds cutlass f85 from 1963 for 850$ ( same as the buick special with a 215 aloy v8) one a convertible 80% complete and the other a hardtop with no engine, tranny, drive shaft...
I did so much research as to what engine to put in my hardtop. Talked to olds guys who hate the idea, talked to my mentor who said "they don't pay your bills" and he is a real gearhead with countless swaps and customisation under his belt, and I chose the buick 350. For it's lightweight, front distributor for firewall issues, torque, and I dont know I just like it the more I read on it. And happy to hear aloy heads are coming in the future.

I recently purchased a sbb350 from 1969 engine code rp, 4bbl, 10.25/1 cr for 125$ complete, the nice man even sold me the stand underpriced for 20$.

I tore the head, exhaust, intake all off yesterday.

I'm so excited to be doing what I'm doing.
I like cars, because they don't talk back or look down on you lol.
    Thanks
    Ronnie
