New from SE MI - 1972 Skylark Convertible

    Hello to all. I am a new member. I just purchased my second Skylark - the one in the link below. The first one was purchased as my first car. As is usually the case, I sold it to afford my second car. I vowed to one day buy another one. Now some 34yrs later, I have done exactly that - but a convertible this time. Looking forward to enjoying the car for a few years before diving into a frame-off restoration.

    Welcome & congrats. Nice looking car. Is it definitely a Skylark w/GS hood/emblems added? There was a recent sale of a '72 GS that also had Skylark emblems from the factory. If not sure, post the first several digits of the VIN.

    It's a clone, VIN verifies it is a Skylark.
