Steve, I'm very happy with the wheels. He did a good job taping off the areas for paint. I'm getting ready to order more from him.
I can make the Grand Nats wheel into 15 x 8. I have the correcy 15 x 8 chromed reverse rimshlls in stock. If you supy wheel for me to cut apart, the price is $170 each. These chrome reverse rimshells are EXPENSIVE SPECIAL ORDERS!!

I got the rear 15x8's on with the new tires and have ordered more wheels for the front from Curt. They should be here any day. Here is a better picture of my car with the wheels mounted. I'll be putting different tires on the front when I get the other wheels. Curt's wheels are really nice. :TU: Check out my new gas tank from 1aAuto.
Has anybody else ordered wheels from Curt? I did back in mid april. he emailed me saying he got the $$, and would start them the nexy week. that was on april 20th. I've sent him a few emails since and he hasn't responded. I want to make it clear that I am not angry, or thinking I've lost my money. I just want to know whats up. His email is the only way I have to contact him. I really wanted them by this weekend, but its not really looking good. I have a '65 Buick Wildcat that needs either a new set of wheels or the ones that are on it need to be stripped and chromed. They are in excellent shape, except there is some rust that won't polish out. Any suggestions about where to get new ones or where the best place is to get the ones that I have chromed?
Joe, I just got another set from him today (they were ordered on April 14). I also talked to him on the phone today. He got REAL busy with orders for the Buick rallye's, plus he had to wait a few days to get more Buick cores. You will get the wheels, don't worry. Don, you need to put some white lettering paint on those rear wheels, and I got just what you need. Rubber white tirel paint. That way you won't need to change the fronts and you can keep that white letter look. It is a bit of a process but it will make you stand out from the crowd. I wish I had a tire to show you, so you would see what I mean. It takes 24 hours to dry between coats, and you will need at least 3 coats and possibly 4 coats on a new tire. Just do the words "Mickey Thompsons" just to put some whte on the tire.
Oh Yeah Curt,Great Job! on the Buick Rims. By the way if you didn't paint them would you cut the price by much? I like to use epoxy primer on my rims before I paint them. Looks like I better coral my extra 14" rims that are have rusted outer shells.You'll be hearing from me.
Jarrod, I have never really liked the white letter tires, so I usually just get blackwall tires. Oh yeah, my other set of 15 x 8's came today, just like Curt said. I think he's been so busy building wheels, he doesn't have time to even check this website. So if you need to order from him, just call him.
Okay, here's a couple pictures of my car with Curt's wheels all the way around. I have the 15 x 8 in rear with P275/60/R15 MT Street Radials and 15 x 6 on front with P215/75/R15 tires just put on today. The wheels from Curt for the front only took 1oz weight on one and 1.25oz on the other to balance. This setup gives my car the look I like. I have the C501 coil springs in the rear with stock shocks. I have air bags in the coils for the track, but in these pictures there is no air in the bags.
I've decided not to bother him them. I was only looking for a heads up on his situation which you guys all provided. I don't wanna bother him with another "when are my wheels gonna be done" question he probably gets a hundred times a day. I'm drooling over your rims though... :spank:
Hey Joe Guess who just called me personally?? Curt just left me a message to let me know my 15x8s just shipped to me today!! Don your car looks great!!! When I recieve my wheels I will post a pic here also. My fronts are 15x6 and rears will be 15x8 with BFG Drag radials too. :TU:
