Blackwalls out on Cooper Tires. IMHO, the RWL tires look out of proportion on Cooper's; Too big on sidewall. (I use Coopers on most of my vehicles); I've had one fail for unexplainable reason, but generally get GOOD mileage and service out of them. Usually 235-60/15 on front; 235-60, 275-50 on rears on 7" wide wheels.

Here's some pics of mine for comparison. 275-60-15 rear (coopers) and 245-60-15 front (bf goodrich)
I'll be replacing the bf goodrich fronts this spring with coopers because they are dry rotted when I bought the car.

If you want I can photo shop the RWL out so you can see the difference.
I don't have any real evaluation of these on the Buick but I've always had decent performance and life from Coopers on my Silverado.

I like white out myself. I also have several sets of Coopers and have been very happy with them. Mostly 15's but just bought a set of 17's recently too.

    I like the whites out.

FWIW, I went through two sets of Coopers on my Silverado without any problems. I only have about 300 miles on the set currently on my Skylark.

I vote for the white ones, in my opinion it just looks more old school. It's up to you to decide though.

I have 15x8 buick rally wheels on all corners

I had 255/60-15s with BFGs, White letters out - loved them

Now have Coopers - 245/60-15 on the front and 295/50-15 on the rear. White letters out - Love them.

I still have the BFGs and am looking for steel wheels to mount them on for a different look every now and then. They'll be white letter out too.

Good looking tires. Can you compare them to the BFGs or the Coopers with regard to dry traction? I went to the MT site but, couldn't find any treadwear info.

Personally, I would generally say to put the white letters out.

Exceptions to this might be sleepers, or cars where you are going for some kind of "monochromatic" look.

You will like the GT coopers. I sell cooper tires, and that's what I'm going to use on my 65GS - White letter out

whites out on this old red car.car drives soo much better. need to get speedo gear corrected.I will look around for a setoff 2ea 8x15s. I really like the looks of the 8 wide rim.do you think the side walls pooch out too much with the 8' and 235s all around? btw I sold my old tires in 3 hours in front of my house. they had only 7K miles on them. 7K miles in 14 years as old aas I am I will never need a new set of tires.Ken
