    You should really like the qjet. For a heavy car that wants torque, run either the stocker or a dual plane aluminum. It’s a tossup, there’s not much power gain with a s/p aluminum. You save a little weight but lose the choke provision with aluminum (which may not matter and you can switch to electric). Single planes move the torque curve higher and decrease lower rpm response. Porting is also more beneficial for a higher rpm lighter car.
