I am 55 years old & have been addicted to the hobby since I was very young. Dad was always a car guy & was a truck mechanic at the Cleveland, Ohio GMC dealership all the years I was growing up. Building, racing, collecting hot rods & classics is in my blood. I have owned dozens of cars from all the GM divisions over the years. I have been blessed to have my job & my hobby be basically the same. I have owned Bill's Auto Works since 1983. Currently I don't do much customer work in the shop, because the transport business has taken all of my time in the last 10 years or so, but still manage to do a custom paint job or a restoration from time to time. Though we've never met face to face, Bill picked up a pristine BMW R1150R motorcycle for me (eBay purchase) in Ohio and delivered it (still pristine) to Santa Fe, NM, all while I was on a drill-ship in the Gulf of Mexico. Now that's TRUST! I recommend him HIGHLY. Almost had him pick up my '67 Pontiac Grand Prix in May, but my wife and I decided to make a trip out of it and flew out to TX to drive it back. Thank you everyone for the welcome & thank you Hunter (M1Lover) for the transport reference. We will meet in person one day. Yes I do offer quality, personalized, single car transport (Open or Enclosed) & even though I am booked well in advance at all times, I am always available to quote prices or just offer advise on the transport business. I think after 34 years & over 3 million accident-free miles I am qualified to do so!
