Hey guys, I have a 72 Buick skylark custom 2 door with the numbers matching 350 2bbl. I had bought the car almost 3 years ago to build for my first car. And after driving it for about a year and a half I'm looking to replace the timing cover (which I have bought already) i want to change put a new oil pump in the new cover. I know TA performance makes a stock pump replacement kit for the 350. But I would like to add a booster plate to the new oil pump I would get. I just want to know what would work best for a more stock application?
Thanks gsfred, I'm glad to have joined the forum. Which section of the forum could I go to, to ask my question? Greg
Hi Greg welcome to the forum!!! Post in the Small Block Buick tech section for the most replies... I like to use the TA oil pump rebuild kit and I do not use the booster plate unless the cover is damaged... I do suggest the adjustable oil pressure regulator as well as buying a whole engine gasket kit as you will need them....
