New to the group in the Milwaukee area

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know I look forward to getting to know you and tap into your wealth of knowledge and expertise. I have a 71 Skylark that I build up over the past year finshed it just in time for the early snow to start in October.

The car has upgraded suspension package, a 12 bolt chevy rearend, 373 gears, 4 wheel disc brakes, a healthly 494 stroker motor.

Greets - how come you're just joining now after the "adventure" of restoration and not before/during ?

.. I wish this place existed back in '99 when I freshened up BigRed, if not for the advice/knowledge then at least for the parts pickin's. Back then, we waited for the monthly hemmings to come out, phone or fax for info, and maybe? get some glossy pics sent back to you

 

Tried to join a while back but kept having problems with the site.
Yes, I agree it would have made things much easier.
Looking forward getting the car out on the streets and track.
