I have been looking for "another" '64 SKYLARK on & off for the last 30 years. LAst summer I found this one. It's very similar to my first SKYLARK that was given to me by my parents upon graduation from high school. I have always thought the SKYLARK was the best looking GM A-body of 1964. My original SKYLARK had a black interior, 4-barrel carb, 4-speed trans, 3.90 : 1 posi rear end and didn't have the white insert on the roof. It was a great sleeper and it embarassed a lot of cars with bigger engines on the street. The SKYLARK I now have has a 2-barrel engine and an automatic. Aside from fixing the minor problems I would like to convert to a 4 or 5 speed trans. I really love this car!
