Great - I would've if I'd needed it. Seemed like a decent deal & that someone here could use it

Arrived today and it is beautiful, looks like NOS. very happy with it I need to compare it to the existing one on the convertible for exact match. Will do that tomorrow.

I'm going to throw an offer at one even though it would make the rest of my car look shabbier.

I need to compare the new one to the one on the 67 convertible and be sure it is the same.

Let me know Chuck. I have 36 hours to accept his counter offer.

Checked it out on my convertible and while I did not take my OEM piece off the car I did carefully line up the new piece with the existing piece on the car. The shape, screw holes and ends line up perfectly with OEM piece in place. I did not look at my OEM piece in place before I bought the NOS piece and now I see my in place OEM piece is very nice with no dents, scratches, etc. and if I took it off and had it polished it would look like a new piece. I may save this NOS piece I bought and either install later or offer for sale for what I paid for it. No rush on that decision.

Once again, the NOS piece I bought off Ebay does look identical to the installed piece on the convertible.

    Hope that helps,

Chuck, thank you for the message and for the info. You too George. Dano, thanks for posting the lead too. I went and looked at my cars and the header moldings look very nice so I passed. The ones for sale are nicer but for me the difference was not worth the price. So, that money now goes to refurbishing the tilt column.

You're welcome. I don't usually post parts leads, but once in a while & that just seemed like something that was a decent deal & that someone could use.
