I'm trying to find A set of NOS over size TRW Chevy 283 dome pistons.

There are a few "old timey" engine shops, and parts houses in the Las Cruces area.
Some names:

Looked in the current issue of “auto roundup” and there is a regular advertesier stating he has multiple sets of late fifties 283
Pistons available, auto round up is available in many wal marts.
