now that the GS nats are history,How About The BCA NATS in OHIO???

    BCA is JULY 15-18 in Strongsville, Ohio. I'm pretty sure they do not have anything special planned for "those sporty cars". Maybe Roberta can answer...

    They still haven't decided to continue on or not, as of 3-31-2020.

    When I approached them last year, they didn't feel that they could accommodate an addition of "special cars", so let it go. The event is in discussion about what will happen, more soon.

    Wow, a Buick event so well attended they can't fit the "bastardized" cars in, that's impressive! Good luck to em.

    Haha, based on the BCS members that commented on my car, "clown car" would've been a kind upgrade to what they had to say.

    The Gateway Buick Chapter is holding a regional meet in St. Louis, September 10-12. They are featuring convertibles and modifieds. The Gateway Performance Chapter is participating too. I don’t think there is any racing involved but the NHRA sanctioned Gateway Motorsports Park is right across the river. I’m sure they would accept the “sporty clown cars.”

    Only went to one BCA event in Springfield Mo. I felt like the uninvited step child that showed up anyway. The modified cars were parked way away from the main show field on the other side of the hotel. During the awards there was just a smattering of applause when that class's winners were announced . I had fun anyway!

    I talked with the BCA lady at the car show in Chicago last year. She asked me if I raced my car and I told her no. She told me good because they don’t like those kind of cars.
    I might try and make the St. Louis show.

    ETA: But I digress, I'm not trying to turn this into a BCA hit-piece. Just have a bad taste from some prior interactions and I'll leave it at that. I hope they get to hold their event in light of all the cancellations due to the current situation.

    The BCA nationals is still on as of yesterday 4/1..What about the Buick Bash at Quaker in July I think.

    The buick bash as far as i know is still for june 18th- 20th, which i hope it stays that way as well as the BCA show:D
