Now watch everyone call the guy thus convincing him he priced it too low!:D

Can't even count the cars I was actually prepared to buy over the years only to hear "From the crazy response level I MUST have priced it way to low so won't budge a nickel & might even realist higher".

Months later most are still for sale after the picture and detail hounds (with no intention to buy!) have worn the seller out but they still figure it MUST be worth a mint.

I'd drive it just the way it is though, sink much more than 20k in it and risking taking a bath on it IMHO

Hope that Hemi orange or Go Mango engine paint doesn't slow it down lol

A little VIN typo and sans fender emblems.

This guy listed the car 9 days ago and says it’s a stage car. If that’s the case and it’s actually a numbers car, it should be long gone by now.

I believe this is a car that I once owned. Sold it maybe 20 years ago. Car went to NJ, then over to LI.

Saw it a few years ago. Its a mess. The guy thinks it worth a mint. There's a reason he doesn't show the quarters! I offered him 6500 and Im glad he didnt take it

I'd at least have painted the motor Ford red or IH red while it was out..That's Godawful looking...

If Jason offered him $6,500.00, we all know it must be worth @ least 18K :D:D:D

Ha! If it’s a numbers car, it has good value as we all know. I just don’t think it’s anywhere near what he’s asking. Does anybody happen to know if it is a numbers car or documented? I’ll be in Suffolk county this weekend and was wondering before I waste any time. Thanks

As I mentioned, I believe I owned that car at one point. Engine, trans, and dist were correct, and had 3:42 rear. I don't think it had the correct carb. Car had around 100k miles on it, and the person I bought it from said the engine had been rebuilt and bored 30 over. Car ran great. When I let the car go the LR qtr was getting pretty cheesey.

Does that 71 grille look correct? or is something missing? It looks unfinished. Not an attractive grille.

    George,
The slots in your grille look correct compared with the car for sale. The one on the car looks like it's missing something that fits in the grooves, but I know it isn't.

I think it is just painted wrong.
