Looking for an oil dip stick or a water pump pulley for a 455.

Anyone have a reasonably priced one laying around that they can part with?

    Thanks,

    Chris

What do you want? One has nothing to do with the other,so you need a oil dip stick and a water pump pulley. On the pulley,do you have a 71-72 and up motor? If so the pulley will be deeper then the 70,also somewhat cheaper.I have both, The water pump you have is the long nose or short nose?Bruno.

Thanks for replying Bruno. Yep, two different things. I bought a 455 out of a 73 Electra that I'm going to have rebuilt. The engine is missing the dip stick, not sure on whether I need short or long. How would I know?

Long water pump pulley or short?

I have a pulley from a 455 with the long water pump. Likely you have that due to engine was in a full size.

    $10 + shipping from 60586.

On the 72 you will have the long water pump.To make sure, just remove the fan and the snout will be about one inch long.If its 1/2 long, then you have the short water pump.I always forget to come back here,so if you need me for parts, just send me a PM.Bruno.

I have a 141 water pump pulley for non air short pump, single groove. Fits 68-70 400-455 for sure. I also have the dip stick set up for you. Let me know if your still searching I can post the pics.
