On a lighter Note, what is everyone up to this winter?
I see most are in hibernation ..

Fresh engines? suspension upgrades?? automotive Bariatric treatments ??? Fresh coat of wax ???? Doing your Best Squirrel Imitation-( freezing your Nuts off ) ????? :Do No:

I myself, am working on a new Bionic Left Knee so I can regain my Ultimate Man Pedal Status... Due to the fact I feel as if I grew a Female private part driving the Auto car so much.. :pp

Ok , If that doesn't leave me open for some fun winter Banter, I don't know what does? Come on Rammitlonger- Hit Me

Had to move my pineapple plants in with the car as it hit freezing here in Orlando last night.

I put out the hose over night and made some ice for the kids

But other than these few days I drive the car a few times every week. Looking forward to a car show next weekend at the VA hospital to support our veterans. .

    Tim,

I was taught to respect my elders so I'll be nice. Besides, now that the knee is out of the way, when do you have the hip replacement scheduled?

To answer your question, all that is planned for the old blue Dodge GTO is to fill the tank and go racing......

The engine is setting back in the '67 Skylark. Going to remove trans and get it freshened/upgraded as soon as it gets so the small heater I have can keep the temp in the shop warm enough to work in. And, my "part-time" job at Visner Engine Development has been nearly full time for the last couple months and will be for some time to come. The wife's '71 Z/28 and the '70 Camaro haven't been touched since December. I'll be back at hard thrashing as soon as the temps get up a bit.

Ended up selling the '74 GTO. It was a blast to own as many people did not know what it was.

2 weeks ago, it was dry and close to 70 degrees on a sunday. I put a tune-up on the blue hemi challenger and proceeded to beat the snot out of it. Weather sucks again now, but it was fun while it lasted.

Transmission came out after I killed the torque converter. It managed to have 13 years of hard times thrown at it before it earned a once over. That being said, the trans had more cheater parts thrown at it than the six million dollar knee!! Screw it all, I am out to have a good time and showing my tail lights to as many individuals at the track as possible. Just wait till we get done with the carb!!!!:Brow:

I was going to pull the hood and fender off the Skylark to gain access to the heater box, since it is coming out and being replaced by the AC parts from the dog-robbed crusty 4-door. But grocery shopping and putting a new step made out of concrete where we exit the house into the garage took precedence. That wood critter that was built before we moved in 12+ years ago had to go, before my mother in law fell off of it. Don't need that kind of trauma- it was flopping when I stepped on it, but I'm a lot younger and have better balance. Quite the shame; my battery powered Bosch drill couldn't handle the 1/2" masonry bit when drilling for rebar, so I had to go up to the store and buy a hammer drill.

Last year I was able to buy this Demon 340. I'm currently working on a pure stock 340 for it. I'm hoping to have it ready for Martin. My plan for 15 is to only race my pure stock 340 A bodies. All my other stuff is mothballed.

Nice car and color combination Tom .I bet it has a 4 speed  . Weighing it up on all corners I never thought of that on a pure stocker .What did it weigh and what was the front to rear bias .

Love it! Always have liked those and their Duster twins. That is the first solid black one I have seen in a long time.

Tim, Petcou says it's going to be a WAR out there with all the little 340 cars in the works. A friend of mine has the opposite of my car...it is Orange with black interior. Both cars are four speeds. I would love to get his car out by Stanton. We shall see.

Of course how cool will it be to get this car next to the plymouth version...Can't wait

Steve, She has a few options on her yet. This is the week I got the car. This Devil is going on a diet

Nice ,I take it the battery is on the drivers side .Not being real familiar with scaling cars .Does the heavy left front cause some of the light left rear .How light did Brian get his FAST car . Is the Devil in the details or the details in the Devil  Cant wait to see it .

That A-body Demon is at least 200 pounds lighter than my earlier A-body GTS!! Does it have the AVS or TQ carb?? If it's a TQ that's another 300cfm over the earlier 340's with the AVS. ADVANTAGE: 340 Demon. :ball::af:
