Paul that 71 Duster 340 looks great!
Is it a factory original 340 Wedge decal car?
Looking forward to seeing it this year.

How well do those A bodies run? My first car was a 70 Dart. Curious what a screaming 340 would.

Tommy Cannon ran 13.19 with his 70, and the 71 with the ThermoCapacitor carb is suppose to be even faster.

Finish that Z/28, 5.38 rear gear and all, and let's see a Z/28 that actually runs, not one that sounds and idles like a 10 second door slammer that only runs 14.50's:rolleyes:

I think you may be confusing Frank's time with mine Donny. Look closer and you will see my best pass was a 13.15. I figure my new Demon should be good for about a 12.79:laugh:

Would you mind posting the small block man pedal list so I can see where that puts me?

Yeah yeah yeah...... I think Mahers Z has done pretty well :3gears: I swear that guy hates that car when he drives it!

Besides the Berger car is power everything, and im afraid to change to much on a diet.

    Power everything..... So?

You know, as much as you like print, (we all do) I'd bet THAT car and it's history would garner far more print for what it is rather than any low E.T.

So don't "Pure Stock" it.........just Pure Stock it.

Putting together a very mild 1971 pure stocker 340 Duster for a buddy of mine. Probably won't be a front runner but he's just looking to get his feet wet. Should be fun...
