Looks like there is an orange Hot Wheels GSX now: http://cgi.ebay.com/HOTWHEELS-2011-...84927?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item3362af41df
Nice catch!! I'll be watching the stores here... I have White Yellow Red Blue Dark Blue Green I must have Orange!!
The pickin's have been weak down here in South Florida. I only have found one green one, and no dark blue. Now I have to look for orange too!!
Once I see a new HW make/model/color here or on fleabay, it takes another 1-2+ months for it to show up here in WA. I still haven't seen the green ones. Seems odd that the delivery trucks take so long to get here. Oh well, I already have an older Johnny Lightning orange GSX :TU:... and a green one too.
I was lucky to find an auction on ebay for 5 green ones... but I paid about $4 each by the time they were shipped... And I just recently bought a dark blue one on ebay too.. I need another dark blue one to complete 2 sets.. That means I need at least 2 orange.. I have extras of each color too (except the dark blue).. as I plan to let my son play with them... one of these days.. he's only 2 months old :bla:
Also to help you guys out when looking... the White/Red/Yellow versions have a yellow 7/42 number at the top right of the card The rest of the colors so far, have a blue 5/10 at the top right. Makes scanning the rows at wal-mart a lot easier :beer
I have had a hard time findind anything up here lately. no dark blue , or green I find the Hot Wheels displays hard to fish through without knocking most everything on the floor. could just be me ? I look everywhere I go. we have hot wheel drag races up at the cottage on a track my brother-in-law made. keeps the kids entertained, OK us adults entertained
I work at Toys R Us (college student) ha and I picked up these Buick GS's Since I have the 69 Skylark Really nice Greenlight cars with detailed engines
There's two shades of Blue, aren't there? I have yet to find a green one and I think the orange is pretty sharp. Too bad the wife hates me hunting them down. She fails to see the how important it is I find them... o No:
Thats why you just look for the numbers on the cards... 5/10 or 7/42, you can quickly scan a row of cars without moving them
No it's not just you, someone could make a fortune on finding a better way to display these things so you don't knock them all over the floor!
Ive been to 3 different Publix Supermarkets, Walmart, CVS.. Kmart.. and no orange cars... Still got a couple other Walmarts to check, and Biglots...I found a bunch of red and white there when they first came out.
Hi I got my first orange one from a friend of mine this week here in Nebraska.I like it, it really looks sharp. John
Ive been everwhere... several Targets several Walmarts Several BigLogs I check the supermarkets CVS, Walgreens etc... And no Orange. I did find a double pack the other day at Target with the Blue GSX and a HWPS delivery van Its an A-Mase'in Speedway pack.
The 2 shades of blue are very similar. They have to be side by side for my eyes to tell them apart. I think it was meant to be the same color but the 'dye lot' was a little off. Still no green or orange in WA.
These are often coming from the HW plant up north from me... but the Buicks do not often appear in the stores (except for Rivi/Regal). Wonder if the factory has tours with good Q&A? I don't collect though, just kinda curious about the manufacturing.
