Can anyone tell for certain if this is an original GSX front spoiler brace? I chose not to run one in my car to put less stress on it if it got hit. It’s
    11 1/8” long.

Correct me if wrong Duane or Jim but I believe these have a slight bend on the flattened surface to mate to the bottom of the core support mounting area.

it does look bent at one end in diagram but looks exact otherwise.

The originals were a solid rod just like the fender braces, and the one end has a good bend in it.

I have an original under my 71 GSX but probably won't get to check it out for a while.

Ok thanks, it’s safe to say this probably isn’t one anyway.

For years one of the venders sold an installation kit and included a steel tube like that. That might be what you have.
