Original Paint Scheme for 68 Motors

    Well if you ever wanted to know how the Factory painted the Motors in 68 this should answer everything.

    I found a booklet that Buick put out, that toured the Flint Factory in 1968.

    Here are shots of the Engines going down the line and some 68 Skylarks from the same booklet.

    You can see that the distributors and exhaust manifolds were installed after the engines were painted.

    Some later year engines were not painted this same way.

    You're just going to have to wait a minute I had technical problems and had to fix them. The last two originally came in upside down.
