[OT] Anyone up on welding tank prices?

I need to get a tank for a mig welder. On ebay 20-40 cf tank go for about 50 and 80 cf tanks for 100 + shipping. I need a tank and regulator. Any idea on what I should pay for one or know what it cost when you do that rental exchange thing?? I am gonna call around tomorrow but am just looking for an idea on price.

If memory serves me correctly, I think I paid $100 for my 80' bottle and roughly $25 to fill it.

I found out that any tank up too waist high they will refill it long as it has been
inspected. Doesnt matter where it came from. But no one will refill the big man size tanks or the typical shop size tank. Unless you need a boat anchor never buy one that big used.

So looks like I got a deal ebay and the local shops match up. 60-65 for a 40cf tank and
50-60 for the regulator and fittings. I think I am gonna just go local as the guy said any
time I want they will give me %80 of my money back on the tank. 65 for a 40cf tank and
12 bucks fills it. 65 for a regulator hose and fittings for my funky welder with that little
plastic hose. Some tax and a total of $150.88 not too bad I guess.
